Would you like to be part of a multi-professional One Team focusing on patient centred care? Then come and join the Totton & Waterside Therapy team where you can do just that.

We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive Therapy Team. We interlink with the wider South West Divisional therapy teams across the New Forest and surrounding areas, Offering a fantastic opportunity for peer support and networking.

The role requires you to work as a therapist within our Integrated Care Service. We work towards a One Team model of care which includes working closely with our community services, inpatient units, primary care and the wider MDT. By working closely together we can provide exemplary care to local populations.

We offer a Urgent Care Response (UCR) service operating 8am-8pm 7 days a week ensuring we work positively to reduce and prevent hospital admissions. We also provide rehabilitation to our local population. This is an exciting time to join our services as we transition into delivering care in an innovative way to meet the needs of our patients.

The type of work we do varies from urgent visits to prevent hospital admissions, supporting patients on discharge from hospital and devising rehabilitation and or management programmes for patients with a wide variety of long-term conditions. Your role will include line management and opportunities for student development.

We are looking for applicants who are keen to develop their skills, able to demonstrate excellent communication across a varied MDT and with our patients. We would welcome interest from forward thinking and flexible therapists with a real passion and interest for rehabilitation and empowering patients to live full and rewarding lives.

You will need to be a qualified, HCPC registered and hold a current driving licence with access to a car for work purposes.
