Provide an island-wide counselling service to clients sixteen years and older. Take responsibility for managing counselling case loads, assessing, planning and delivering timely and appropriate therapeutic treatment for Adults experiencing mild to moderately severe common mental health problems. Take responsibility for assessment and provision of an appropriate range of evidence based therapeutic counselling interventions. Assess and manage clinical risk. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Counsellor to join our Counselling and Therapy service in primary care!
We deliver a range of therapeutic counselling interventions for people experiencing mild to moderately severe mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression and trauma.
Together we will design, deliver and evaluate the developing service based in the heart of the community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something special and make a difference to those in the community.
You will initially be based in Port Erin or Douglas, but we also deliver interventions in our Ramsey and Peel hubs.
Your high level of clinical skills and ability to utilise specialist therapeutic techniques and counselling approaches will ensure clients receive the services they need.
