A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Hillingdon for highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Nurses to join our Community Mental Health Services as Duty Workers.

The CMHTs work with adults covering the Hillingdon borough and the site is based in Uxbridge, close to major motorway networks and within walking distance of the Piccadilly and Metropolitan Tube Lines.

We are a service user led service and work with adults that have mental health issues and require support with their physical health needs.

The role of the Duty worker is assessment of new referrals into the teams, answering incoming duty queries, carrying out risk reviews and feeding back to the wider MDT with recommendations based on service user need.

The CMHTs are multidisciplinary teams, comprising of nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, employment specialists and peer support workers. The teams are supported by good administrative systems and offers an excellent working environment.

The teams have good links with local statutory and non-statutory services and work closely with our colleagues at The Riverside Centre at Hillingdon Hospital.

The posts are for 37.5 hours a week and the CMHT working hours are Mon-Friday 9am-5pm. There is also an opportunities for weekend work across our 7 day service.
