This is an exciting opportunity for a psychological therapist to work in a new and innovative primary care hub consisting of Oxleas NHS Foundation trust and voluntary sector services offering a collaborative and holistic approach to preventing major mental health problems.
Main duties of the job
Psychological therapist will be developing and overseeing psycho education /well being programmes and evaluating these as well as advising primary care staff on complex cases.

The postholder will supervise a team of assistant psychologists and work closely with IAPT ,GPs and secondary care psychological therapies to ensure clients access appropriate interventions. We are interested in applicants who want to develop new ways of working and those that incorporate systemic ideas and models into clinical practice will be welcome.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential
- Doctoral level qualification in Clinical/ counselling psychology or diploma in CBT
- 2 years post qualification experience
Clinical experience Essential
- two years experience in a mental health setting
experience of supervision Essential
- post qualification experience of managing assistant psychologists or trainees
leading project Essential
- Experience of working autonomously on area of service development
