We are a dynamic service providing patient-centered rehabilitation to residents of Coventry; age 18 and over. Clinical case load is varied and challenging including; neurological, musculoskeletal, falls, respiratory, multi pathology, complex physical needs; including long term conditions and chronic pain.

You will be able to illustrate and reflect upon complex patient management and demonstrate sound clinical reasoning. You will be able to prioritise your workload and time effectively to support appropriate caseload management and delegation.

You will join our dynamic team of therapists who strive towards supporting holistic recovery and regaining independence supporting admission prevention, hospital discharge and supporting patients within the community.

To be an integral part of the Community Physiotherapy Service

To provide evidenced based specialist Physiotherapy Assessments assessment and appropriate physiotherapy intervention to patients referred to the service

To liaise closely with members of the wider multidisciplinary team as required, facilitating effective caseload management

To have a general knowledge of a variety of conditions including; neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, care of the elderly, respiratory and falls

To utilise a comprehensive range of evidenced based specialist assessments and treatment to patients in their own home or in a clinic environment

To assist in the quality and activity monitoring systems, to support evaluation of effectiveness of the service

To assist in the maintenance and development of the Community Physiotherapy and Community Physiotherapy Falls Service

  • HPC Registration
  • Evidence of post-graduate education
Knowledge Essential
  • Organisational Skills
  • Good written communication
Experience Essential
  • Significant post graduate clinical experience in the United Kingdom with good basic training/post graduate rotations (or within a community/intermediate care setting)
  • Evidence of personal development portfolio
  • Evidence of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrates an understanding of clinical governance in relation to Physiotherapy
