This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, dynamic, inspirational and experienced Family Therapist to join CAMHS. The appointee will be working part time as part of theTier 4 Inpatient Service. We would welcome applications from people who are suitably qualified.

Main duties of the job

The main role of the post holder will be to provide assessment, supervision and specialist interventions for young people and their families whilst admitted to our Tier 4 Inpatient setting. The post holder will work closely with the MDT consisting of Nursing, Medical, Dietitian, Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Art and Music Therapists. The role will also include the provision of training and the development of therapeutic skills.

The team has several different disciplines which work together to think and understand a child and families presenting difficulties. Professionals in the service work collectively, is highly supportive and operates using a MDT approach. We offer supervision and have a robust induction which is monitored throughout an employee's employment. The service is highly approachable and is highly ambitious of supporting young people and staff well-being. We welcome applications from highly motivated individuals who would like to make a difference and engage with young people and families. The service delivers interventions which are evidenced based.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
