Do you have a passion for clinical trials. Are you ready to take your next step into this role? would you like to work in the hospital environment but not commit to late nights or regular weekends.

We are excited to be able to offer a newly created post which will see the post holder spend their time between coordinating clinical trials and working within the dispensary.

The post is full time and allows you to develop your current skills in these areas.

The ability to travel between sites is required.

Main duties of the job

To provide quality, effective pharmacy services to improve patient care including technical and clinical services and co-ordinate clinical trials

To promote further development of the pharmacy technician's role within the Trust.

Person Specification education and registration Essential
  • Registered with GPhC
  • oBTEC Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy or equivalent
  • oBTEC Professional Diploma in dispensing checking or equivalent
Desirable
  • oUp to date GCP certificate
  • oMember of APTUK
Experience and knowledge Essential
  • oExperience of supervision and training of pharmacy staff
Desirable
  • oExperience of working in a pharmacy within Mental Health.
  • oExperience in working in clinical trials
  • oExperience in presenting to different grades of staff and different size audiences
