The Mental Health Directorate provides adult mental health services, older persons mental health services, rehabilitation and recovery services, and substance misuse services. CAMHS services are provided by the CAMHS network covering Cwm Taf Health Board, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and Swansea Bay University Health Board. This network is managed independently within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

Mental Health Services in Wales were reconfigured in 2012 to meet the requirements of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure. Secondary Mental Health Services are required to provide care coordination and Care and Treatment Plans to all patients under their care; this does not apply to substance misuse services, or the liaison psychiatry service.

Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
