The North Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Integrated Musculoskeletal Service (NIMS) are looking to recruit a full time 1.0 WTE experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and innovative team. The post holder will play a leading role in our MSK team within the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) MSK team with support from the service Clinical Leads, Clinical Champions and Operational Leads. MPFT is a large, integrated NHS organisation and by becoming part of our team you will be well supported and empowered to deliver services consistent with our Trust values.
As an advanced physiotherapist you will have supervisory, training and leadership responsibilities for physiotherapy staff within and across the NIMS Service including junior registered and unregistered staff. You will collaborate with and work alongside colleagues within MPFT including Advanced Practice Physiotherapists (APP), extended scope podiatrists and the Pain management team to promote trust values, improve standardisation and improve the patient experience. You will support in the development of and promote a proactive, positive culture within the team and encourage an open, safe learning style.
The post holder will have a clinical caseload where you operate at an advanced level of clinical practice, with clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage MSK problems and undifferentiated conditions. Applicants must have relevant postgraduate MSK training and experience at a senior level within the NHS as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The post holder will be expected to participate in evaluating the service, audit and research.
The post will be based at Bradwell Hospital. However, you will need to be flexible and able to travel to work in various locations across the Trust as the service requires.
