This role is only open to applicants that currently work within an NHS Trust within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS).

The role of the project support officer is to support the Associate Director and wider CNO Team with urgent and ongoing projects and related work. The post holder will play a central role in supporting the CNO in project and daily working delivery, often working to tight deadlines.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team which leads, designs and supports services to deliver nursing and Allied Healthcare Professional excellence, bringing meaningful change within Hampshire Hospitals and across our Integrated Care Partnership. As part of the CNO, the postholder will also work with colleagues in partner organisations, contributing to the implementation of a system of quality improvement in patient care.

Main duties of the job

As a project support officer, the role will be varied and the post holder will be expected to develop in-depth specialist knowledge of the team/service/project being worked on and the ability to provide detailed advice and information to whomever requests it. Each project is different and therefore duties will change accordingly. However, for the most part, the role is responsible for monitoring of project related information, data collection such as excel spreadsheets, monitoring of risks and issues and liaising with key stakeholders from different organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to ensure the smooth running of assigned projects and regular work. The role also requires the maintenance and administration of the Trust's Audit system, Safeguarding allegations, and the Ward Accreditation process.
