We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging individual who enjoys compliance auditing, identifying improvements, and delivering a variety of training courses (including health and safety, fire safety, fire evacuation, use of evacuation chairs, display screen equipment, and telephone aggression) to all levels of staff. This role reports to the Health and Safety Manager, although it is required to support the full Safety Team (Health and Safety, Fire Safety, and Security Management), and on occasion, the Facilities Management team. You will be able to work autonomously and possess good organisation and communication skills (verbal, written and presenting). You will also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and able to learn and adapt software in order to reduce administration and streamline processes. Ideally, you will possess a training qualification and an audit qualification (ISO9001 or ISO45001) and you will hold a NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent).
Main duties of the job
Based at White Rose Park, but with travel across Leeds and potentially some further reaching geographical areas where staff are based, a full driving licence and access to a car are essential. Responsibilities include: Representing the Safety Team at the Trusts Welcome Event Developing and delivering the Trusts audit schedule Writing comprehensive audit reports and liaising with services/departments to ensure suitable action plans are developed and acted on Providing advice and guidance on the use of the Assure database Developing and delivering a comprehensive training schedule Identifying, developing, and improving training content based on audit findings, incidents and new legal requirements or identified best practices Liaising with the subject matter experts to identify any areas of improvement Analysing data, writing compliance and performance reports Supporting the Fire Safety Advisor with operational fire safety requirements Please Review the Job Description and Person Specification Attached for full Requirements of the Role.
