Advanced Musculoskeletal Rotational Physiotherapist (Band 7)
Have you had good experience across a range of specialties at Band 6 level and now want new challenges? Are you looking to specialise within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy? Would you like to further develop your leadership and teaching skills alongside continuing the growth of your clinical ability? If so, come and join the Specialised Therapies team at the University of North Midlands NHS Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist with strong clinical and team working skills. We are looking for candidates with a positive and resilient outlook and are able to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in a large acute trust.
An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a permanent Advanced Physiotherapist to join our wider Musculoskeletal Therapies team. The successful candidate will be in a post which has rotations across the Royal Stoke and County Hospital sites and includes the following specialities:
Supervision will be provided by the Principal Therapists continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning and you will be supported through our In-house leadership course.
Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to work closely alongside your Advanced Occupational Therapy counterparts. This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to continue to develop their leadership and management skills, as well as further building specialised clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden clinical abilities.

The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and has strong links with Keele University through Primary Care Sciences and School of Allied Health Professionals. The post works within a 7 day shift system which includes weekends, late shift and bank holiday working.
