As a Clinical Practice Educator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care through the continuous professional development of ED staff. Combining your clinical expertise with educational responsibilities, you will provide guidance and support for both newly qualified and experienced healthcare professionals within the ED team.

Main duties of the job
- To support the practice development nurse (PDN) in the delivery of education and training programmes for a variety of leaners within emergency medicine i.e. band 3 Emergency Team Assistants, band 5 nurses and junior band 6 nurses.
- To work across emergency medicine to support a range of learners and to ensure the delivery of high quality education and development.
- Facilitate the creation of positive learning environments where staff development is encouraged and supported.
- Facilitate the induction, education and continuing professional development for a range of learners.
- To be a role model for leadership, training, coaching and support staff working within emergency medicine
- To support staff working with learners to deliver high quality effective care for patients thus improving the patients' experience.Contribute to the development of programmes of education and training, whilst demonstrating awareness of cultural diversity in the workplace and the need to adapt training accordingly.
