Main duties of the job
- The post holder may lead a team and be responsible for providing an advanced standard of care to patients at Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust, which covers a multi-cultural and diverse population. The post holder will supervise the work of other more junior staff and support workers. The post holder may be rotational and will be expected to work across all sites of the ICHNT. The post holder will assist the Clinical Lead in contributing to the planning, coordination, development and evaluation of the service. Together with other senior staff, you will act as a resource of specialist advice to the rest of the therapy service and other professions.
- For therapy services where there is current weekend working, the post holder is required to work at weekends as part of their contracted hours of work once they have completed the relevant induction and achieved the required competencies (specific rota details are held locally within departments).
- For physiotherapy services where there is an on call service: The post holder is required to participate in the overnight on call rota and will do so once they have completed the relevant induction and achieved the required competencies (specific rota details are held locally within departments).

- Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy
- State registration with the Health Professions Council
- Clinical Educators course or equivalent
- Evidence of CPD through maintenance of a portfolio, especially in the relevant clinical area
