Ward 32 in the Queens Centre CHH has a vacancy for an enthusiastic Nurse to join a progressive nursing team who provide care for patients with cancer with a variety needs. The Queens Centre is a state of the art department treating oncology and haematology in-patients across five wards. In addition to a fantastic building we also invest in our staff and offer comprehensive 'in-house' training and recommended pathways for further education relevant to the care of cancer patients including opportunities to complete the Chemotherapy Competency course.

Main duties of the job
This speciality requires the post holder will be professional and have a positive problem solving approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver high standards of fundamental care to their patients.
A willingness to developevidence basedpractices and with supervision you will developan expertknowledge of cancer, symptom management and treatments. As well as achieving skills in emotional and psychological support during challenging circumstances.
As part of our commitment to the post holder Clinical supervision is available to all staff in this post encouraging the wellbeing of our staff.
