Senior Specialised Rotational Physiotherapist (Band 6)
Have you had good experience across a range of specialties at Band 5 level and now want new challenges? Are you looking to widen your experience? Would you like to develop your leadership and teaching skills alongside growth of your clinical ability? If so, come and join the Specialised Therapies team at the University of North Midlands NHS Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist with strong clinical and team working skills. We are looking for candidates with a positive and resilient outlook and are able to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in a large acute trust.
An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will rotate across the Royal Stoke and County Hospital sites and includes the following specialities:
Main duties of the job
This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills, as well as building clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden clinical skills.
Supervision will be provided by the Advanced Therapists and Principal Therapists continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning. The 12 months will offer the opportunity to complete rotation objectives and either an audit or service evaluation project
The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and the post works within a 7 day shift system which includes weekend, late shift, bank holidays and on-call working.
