We have an exciting opportunity to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our therapy rehabilitation team based at chester le street Community Hospital for a 9 month maternity secondment.

Applicants must be prepared to participate in a 6 day week service, covering bank holidays and Saturdays on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job

This post is for a band 5 physiotherapist full time.

The service will work over 6 days a week.

The successful applicant will independently manage a caseload providing holistic, short term, goal led intervention following a comprehensive assessment. These patients will present with a wide range of problems and will allow you to develop your knowledge

To support assistant staff and to help with their development

Qualifications

• BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent
• State Registration
• Continuing Professional Development Diary including evidence of reflective practice, training and clinical experience

• Recognised relevant academic qualification
• Member of CSP
• An understanding of County Durham and Darlington NHS FT, its culture, strategic direction achievements and NHS standing
