This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Principal Practitioner Clinical Psychologist to join EPUT's expanding psychological services for parents and their infants.
We are pleased to offer a one year Secondment 0.2wte 8b post in EPUT Essex Perinatal Mental Health Service (PMHS). The service delivers high quality support and intervention to mothers, their infants and their families. PMHS consists of five perinatal hubs with a staff mix comprising of Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology as well as Social Work, OT and Nursery Nursing. There are strong relationships with partnership services such as maternity, health visiting, secondary care mental health services and primary care services providing streamlined, timely and effective care for mothers in the perinatal period. This post is available in the North West Locality (Loughton, Harlow and Stansted). However other North localities can be considered as location should not be a barrier to applying. There will also be considerationgiven to applicants who are already operating at 8b level but are currently at an 8a banding.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will be to offer senior clinical leadership t the perinatal service.
Support delivery through the supervision of staff as well as offering consultation.
There will be an expectation for the postholder to hold a limited number of assessment cases.

- HCPC registered and has post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology as accredited by the BPS,
