Part time permanent post available 24hours per week for a band 6 senior staff nurse on the Paediatric Unit at Prince Charles Hospital.

The Post Holder will act as a deputy to the Ward Manager.

They will be required:? To act as the deputy to the ward manager regularly taking charge ofthe department and ensuring that the standards and quality of caregiven to Children & Young People, together with the environment, inwhich the care is delivered, are maintained to a high standard.? Be an effective leader and role model to junior staff and others.? Work flexibly as a member of the ward team and in support of theward manager to ensure standards are being maintained, evaluatedand where necessary improved.
