We are looking for an enthusiastic, value-driven individual with extensive project management experience to join the Care Experience Improvement Team to make a real difference for patients and staff.
As the Improvement Programme Manager, you will be responsible for all elements of the Care Experience Improvement programme management and line managing the team members.
This role is integral to the successful delivery of multi-faceted improvement programmes across the Trust and driving the transformation of Care Experience Improvement.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for all elements of the Care Experience Improvement programme management, the main duties will include the strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects to improve the Care Experience in line with the Trust's strategic priorities. This will involve effective communication, collaboration, and engagement with Multi-Disciplinary Teams, clinical boards, and senior leaders across the Trust whilst embodying a flexible and inclusive approach.
The successful candidate will have experience of line management, interpreting and utilising complex data, report writing skills and be motivated to promote and facilitate improvement across Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals.

- The Improvement Programme Manager will be responsible for all elements of the Patient and Staff Experience programme management (governance, reporting, monitoring and tracking), including the strategic planning, facilitation and executionof implementation plans, across a clinical and/or corporate improvement programme.
- To line manage the members of the Patient and Staff Experience team.
- To work across the organisation with Multi-Disciplinary Teams and with external partners, to deliver multi-faceted projects to deliver both local and national service redesign, change and improvement.
- To provide leadership and constructive challenge to colleagues on delivery, best practice and benefits realisation.

- Educated to Master's degree level or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Project Management and/or Programme Management qualification or relevant equivalent experience
