We have opportunities available for a registered nurse to join the UK's leading heart and lung transplant theatre team. Do you feel you are the right candidate to join our dynamic and friendly team?

This post will involve the care of the patient and the preparation of specialist equipment for various types of cardio-thoracic procedures. In addition to this you will be trained to support the theatre team throughout surgery and also to complement our Transplant, PTE, VAD and ECMO services.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Professional either Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC)


Desirable

  • Mentorship/teaching qualification
  • Evidence of working within a similar environment


Experience

  • Ability to treat all patient/employee information confidentially
  • Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate information verbally which maybe sensitive/difficult
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
