The pharmacy service at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has a high profile and is well integrated into multi-disciplinary teams, providing a much valued contribution to patient care. This is an exciting time for our Pharmacy Department as we continue to improve and develop our clinical pharmacy service.

A clinical pharmacist is required to join our clinical team to support the delivery of the clinical pharmacy service to a range of clinical specialties across acute, medical, surgical and women's and children'swards, as well as the anticoagulation clinic and aseptic unit. The successful candidate will be a role model with the vision, insight, and self-motivation to implement change and to further develop your skills in preparation for a more advanced role. You will assist in the delivery of medicines optimisation through high-quality care, formulary reviews, and clinical audits and will also be involved in the training and supervision of various members of the Pharmacy team. You will also support the dispensary and partake in the late, on call and weekend service.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced pharmacists, nearing completion of the first 18 months of the Clinical Diploma (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

Essential

• Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
• Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Desirable

• Completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent or equivalent advanced practice supported by training
• Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and working towards membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Faculty scheme
