We're recruiting OTs for various roles across Berkshire at Bands 5, 6, and 7. Our roles span a range of services, allowing you to specialize in areas such as intermediate care, inpatient rehab, paediatrics, mental health (including CAMHS), neurology, wheelchair services, care home support, and learning disabilities.

For newly qualified OTs, our preceptorship programme offers a smooth transition from student to registered therapist. We welcome applications from soon-to-qualify OTs who are exploring career options.

Experienced OTs will find a wealth of opportunities to further develop clinical and leadership skills, including developmental, specialist and leadership roles.

You'll find a strong AHP leadership structure, OT forums, learning resources and excellent OT peer support across the Trust.

Many services offer flexibility and full or part-time hours. As a community-based Trust, travel is required for many of our roles. You must be able to travel efficiently and effectively using your own transport.

Main duties of the job

  • Planning and management of your own caseload and interventions
  • Undertake clinical sessions and manage caseload as required
  • To function as an autonomous clinician
  • Supporting clients and their families in a range of face to face settings
  • To build relationships with clinical and professional / education colleagues across the health and local authority community
  • Provide guidance and appropriate delegation to therapy assistants in the tea
