We are looking for a compassionate and supportive Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in the Community Adult Therapy Service on the beautiful Isle of Man. Our multidisciplinary team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Technicians, all working together to provide therapy assessment and intervention for adults over the age of 18 who are unable to access outpatient facilities.

Main duties of the job

In this dynamic role, you will deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients in their own homes. You will work with individuals facing a range of conditions, including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal issues. The position is diverse, encompassing a variety of responsibilities such as functional assessments, housing evaluations, moving and handling assessments, standard equipment provision, and major adaptations no two days are the same in this uniquely rewarding and challenging role!

Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
