The Trauma and Orthopaedic directorate, within the Division of Surgery, is a busy and fast paced department. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Support Manager who will be responsible for the line management of a large secretarial team and therefore strong leadership and staff management skills are required.
In addition you will support the Directorate to deliver a high quality and effective clinical service, his will require liaising with various staff disciplines to organise additional capacity to meet the demands placed on the Division.
Main duties of the job
The Division of Surgery is recruiting to a Business Support Manager to work within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Team. You will be part of the division's operational management team and will work alongside the Directorate Manager and Assistant Directorate Manager to support trauma and Orthopaedic and the wider Surgical team whilst working closely with clinical colleagues. A large part of your role will be to manage the Admissions Team and to support in the management of out Fracture Clinic. This role will require cross site working, with 2 days per week being based at Arrowe Park hospital and 3 days per week based at Clatterbridge Hospital.
