We are looking for a Qualified Nurse, who has the ability to work alone and within a team environment. Evidence of infection control knowledge and effective communication skills is essential. We are looking for extensive post nurse qualification experience and evidence of leadership development.

Main duties of the job

You will need to inspire and motivate others, and act as a role model and a professional source of infection control advice for staff, patients, relatives and members of the public when required. Under the direction of the Lead Nurse you will support the IPC service by collaborating and engaging with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service that improves patient outcomes/experiences.

• Extensive post qualifying experience
• Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs
• Evidence of infection control knowledge
• Evidence of a service improvement
• Effective communicator able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information
• Evidence of persuasive and strong influencing skills and the ability to manage conflict
• Evidence of relevant involvement in meeting the clinical governance objectives
