This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Full Stack Developer to shape the organisation's information and analytics landscape. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in building practical, effective applications that address key challenges in healthcare delivery.

Main duties of the job
As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, build, and maintain custom reporting applications, APIs, and data systems that support the trust's evolving digital needs. You will play a pivotal role in advancing local and national information strategies through modern technologies and by delivering high-quality, secure solutions for data management and analysis.
In this role, you will enhance the organisation's technology stack by developing intuitive web-based tools using frameworks like Angular or React, alongside HTML/CSS and Power BI. On the back end, you'll work with Python, SSIS, SQL, and APIs to create scalable and efficient data solutions. You'll also focus on optimising system performance, improving data quality, and ensuring robust data security to support impactful decision-making across the organisation.

- Master's degree in an information or numeracy field, or equivalent higher education qualification or minimum 3 years' experience in a specialist role
Knowledge
Essential
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Competency in Python for data processing and analysis.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and related frameworks (e.g. Angular or React)
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Understanding of Data Visualisation tools, (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Skills
Essential
- Experience in creating ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or similar tools
- Practical experience of using SQL (or similar) to build tables, design updates and extract data
- Experience in developing Flask-based Python WebApps and APIs
- Familiarity with full stack development, including front-end (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS) and back-end technologies (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Understanding of database design, creation, tables, permissions, etc
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of staff
- Good analytical and problems solving skills, effectively using tools available
- Good presentation skills in all media - verbal, written, visual etc.
