We are delighted to offer a full or part-time Specialist Dietitian post, within our friendly team in the innovative area of Inherited Metabolic Diseases. This is a rare opportunity to develop your specialist skills with all ages, as this service provides support from infancy, throughout childhood and into adulthood, supporting children, families and adults living with a range of lifelong Inherited Metabolic conditions. You will work alongside a team of dietitians who are experts in their respective areas and closely with a small and supportive MDT.
You will be based at the Great North Children's Hospital at the Royal Victoria Infirmary site and will work primarily within our Regional Metabolic team, with additional general paediatric clinical cover on occasion. You will receive support and training from the Metabolic Service Lead Dietitian, Specialist Dietetic team, including a Dietetic Support Worker, and the MDT. There will be excellent opportunities for CPD and you will be encouraged to represent and involve the department nationally in research and policy development.
