An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated, dynamic and committed Registered Nurses to join our friendly multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is an enthusiastic and committed professional with the passion and drive to provide the highest quality care.

There is 1x 37.5 hours per week and 1x 30 hours per week available.

Main duties of the job

Supported by the Ward Sister, and Matron , you will develop your professional accountability, and innovative thinking. The Trauma and Orthopaedic Division supports many career opportunities.
  • At all times request patient confidentiality and in particular, the confidentiality and in particular, the confidentiality of electronically/manually stored patient/personal data, in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
  • Be aware of individual responsibilities and maintain a safe environment in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act. Identify and report immediately any untoward accident, incident or potential hazard.
  • Develop IT skills as required in line with Trust developments.
  • Attend all mandatory lectures and in service training as identified at Performance Development Appraisal.
  • Adhere to Trust and Divisional policies and procedures.
  • The prevention and control of infection is an integral part of the role of al health care personnel.

  • RN Level 1 or 2
  • Proven post registration experience

  • Work experience during training / post qualification in Orthopaedic / Rheumatology Nursing Practice
