An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist neurodevelopmental CAMHS service as a referrals intake assistant. The postholder will work directly alongisde the referrals coordinator to support withthe triage and screening of new patient referrals. This will involve attending, together with the referrals coordinator, weekly meetings with partner agencies to discuss new referrals and follow up on any pending referrals. Other duties include liaising with healthcare professionals such as GP's and community CAMHS teams to discuss referrals to the team and informing referrers of the outcome of their referrals. The postholder will bea point of contact with services, referrers and with families for newly referred young people.
