We have a very desirable and rare opportunity for an Administrative Line Manager to join our Womens & Child Health Care Group on a permanent basis at 37.5 hours per week. Please note, this role will be available from 10th February 2025.

Our desired candidate will have demonstrable people management skills and experience with exceptional problem solving & attention to detail capability. Youll be adept at motivating a team, planning & organising your own and a teams workload and at ease with adapting to changing demands with the aim to ensure positive outcomes, KPIs and deadlines are achieved. You believe in and will demonstrate a mature, fair, enthusiastic and positive leadership style to ensure our Administrative Teams are cared for and supported.

Previous demonstrable strong skills and experience of leadership is of upmost importance to us. Thorough understanding of NHS performance targets, change management & patient flow is very desirable.

Briefly, the Administrative Line Manager is responsible for the line management of administrative and clerical staff and overseeing the day to day running of administrative functions within the Womens & Child Health Care Group. There will be close working relationships with clinical colleagues, senior managers and support teams within the Trust. This role will involve HR elements such as recruitment & retention and attendance and performance monitoring. Awareness and implementation of Health & Safety protocols, coaching & mentoring, training, operational & admin workflow data collation and monitoring. This role also plays an active role in quality & change management projects. The Administrative Line Manager supports the Administration Service Manager to turn strategy into tangible positive results and outcomes.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday. Following completion of relevant training and at the Administration Service Managers discretion, 1 day working from home can be supported on a Wednesday or Thursday.
