Main duties of the job

Are you a compassionate nurse ready to support women and their families during some of their most challenging moments? We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide exceptional nursing care within our specialised gynaecology unit.

In this dynamic role, you will assess emergency patients, ensuring seamless escalation to the right clinician for timely intervention. Your commitment to delivering harm-free care will be at the forefront as you work collaboratively with inpatients, ensuring that care is tailored with their needs at the centre of every decision.

We thrive in a fast-paced environment, and your ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining composure under pressure will be invaluable! As an independent practitioner, you will also play a key role in supporting patients experiencing early pregnancy loss, providing vital signposting and guidance during sensitive times.

Collaboration is essential! You will support our senior nursing team by ensuring compliance with mandatory training, information governance, and attendance protocols, contributing to a culture of excellence and safety.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
