An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (22.5 hours per week) experienced Band 6 Nutrition Specialist Nurse to join the team.
The post holder is responsible for a caseload of patients with a variety of enteral and parenteral feeding tubes and is responsible for coordinating their inpatient and community care, working with the multidisciplinary team and ensuring patient safety.
The post is primarily based in Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen with an expectation to provide regular outreach to other hospital sites in Ceredigion.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and suitably experienced registered nurse who is ready to develop their specialist skills in clinically assisted nutrition and become part of a highly respected Health Board team.
The Nutrition Nurse Specialist team work closely with dietetics and are an integral part of a range of multi-disciplinary teams, delivering excellent patient centred nutritional care across the Health Board.
We are open to flexible working arrangements helping you to achieve a good work - life balance. The team are currently a 5 day flexible hours service but are working towards providing 6 day support.
