An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our regional Trauma and Neuro Rehabilitation Unit (L1).
L1 is a part of the Greater Manchester major trauma collaborative and specialising in Neuroscience, the ward provides 10 neuro in-patient beds and 12 trauma beds. L1 provides a service for neurological patients from Salford, Trafford and specialist Neuroscience services for patients from the Greater Manchester. We aim to provide the most effective service for patients requiring neuro-trauma rehabilitation following neurosurgery and acute neurological illnesses.
As a team we deliver a holistic, friendly, open, patient centred environment and abide by the trust values. We have excellent relations with members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), which include neuro psychologists, specialist nurses, chaplains, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, SALT, dieticians, social workers and the medical and surgical teams.
