We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will be responsible for the provision of operational and day-to-day management of the Administration Team within North Wales Adolescent Service.

The Administration Manager will be required to lead and manage a team of administration staff to support the delivery of an effective administration function within these services.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support Service Managers and Operational Managers in the achievement of key operational and strategic objectives for CAMHS by supporting the team to achieve standards set out with a key role in supporting teams to improve access to the service and achieve targets.

This will involve supporting the Assistant Operations Manager with monitoring compliance against standards set, identifying problem areas and working with the operational management team, Clinical Leads and Service Leads to resolve issues and ensure a coordinated approach to the delivery of services.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • ILM Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management or willingness to complete within 2 years of appointment.
  • Evidence of Continual Professional Development
  • Recognised Qualification in Improvement Methodology or a willingness to complete within 2 years.
  • PRINCE II foundation or willing to complete within 2 years


Desirable

  • Advanced Excel


Experience

Essential

  • Participation in improvements/ change management projects and process re-engineering
  • Problem identification and solving
  • Significant experience of working within a demanding/high intensity administrative setting
  • Ability to deliver deadlines on a wide range of administrative/project processes
  • Proven ability to analyse and appropriately present information so that it is easy to understand.


Desirable

  • Experience of working within an improvement/ modernisation/ project environment
  • Management of small projects
  • Experience of managing staff

  • Advanced keyboard skills with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data at high speed and with great accuracy.
