Main duties of the job
We provide SLT to children and young people

Your role would include:
- The assessment of CYP with a range of speech, language and communication needs including- DLD, ASD, speech sound difficulties, selective mutism.
- Working directly with children in groups and individually, as well as offering advice and strategies to school staff and parents.
- Liaising with parents and other professionals
- Providing training for your allocated schools

Essential
- Degree or equivalent and Licence to Practice - Royal College of Speech/Language Therapists
- Current registered membership of HPC and RCSLT
Desirable
- RCSLT NQP competencies completed
Experience

- Working with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties - including ASD, DLD, selective mutism and speech sound disorders
- Collaborative work with parents and other professionals, especially teachers in a school setting
- Training others
- Post graduate experience of working with children.

- Normal Child Development including Speech and Language, Play and other milestones
- Knowledge of appropriate range of assessments and interventions for pre-school & school-aged children with speech, language and communication impairments
