We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated pharmacists to join our team. You will gain valuable clinical knowledge and experience across all specialties and be supported through a rotational clinical training programme. You will also be encouraged to study for a PG Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy funding dependent.

Someone with excellent communication and organisational skills you will have a desire to thrive and learn in a clinically focused team.

Main duties of the job

Following a structured induction programme you will join our team providing clinical pharmacy services, as part of an operational rotation in order to facilitate the provision of safe, effective and cost-effective pharmaceutical care.

Rotations include general medicine, general and specialist surgery, orthopaedics, elderly care, emergency admissions, and stroke.

Provision of 24/7 access to pharmacy services including evening, weekend and bank holiday working to provide

• Clinical pharmacy advice
• Medicines information
• Dispensing and supply services

To undertake a structured development and post-graduate training programme.

• MPharm 4 year pharmacy degree (or previously accredited BPharm or BSc [Pharm])
• Successfully completed trainee pharmacist year and registration examination leading to membership of GPhC Or expected to pass registration exam and register with the GPhC prior to role commencing or Expected to pass registration exam and register with the GPhC prior to role commencing

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

• Pharmacy experience as part of trainee placements - Clinical Pharmacy (community, hospital practice or ICB)
• Pharmacy experience as part of trainee placements - Dispensing
• Pharmacy experience as part of trainee placements - Extemporaneous dispensing

Desirable

• Hospital pharmacy experience post qualification or as part of training
• Knowledge of hospital working practice
