This is an opportunity for an experienced and innovative Occupational Therapist to provide Clinical Leadership in the delivery of Occupational Therapy in Pembrokeshire Mental Health Service. The Community mental health and acute teams in Bro Cerwyn, Haverfordwest, provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment for individuals with mental health needs.
The successful candidate for this post will need to be self-motivated, forward thinking and committed to learning. You should have advanced clinical knowledge, risk assessment skills, and care planning skills.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate for this post will need to be self-motivated, forward thinking and committed to learning. You should have advanced clinical knowledge, risk assessment skills, and care planning skills.
You will have a flexible approach to work and be an organised individual with excellent time management skills in order to manage a complex caseload, oversee patient journeys and support individuals to move through our services and guide appropriate, relevant clinical discussions effectively as the team priorities change frequently throughout the day.
We are therefore seeking to appoint a proactive, motivated and compassionate individual, with demonstrable experience in health care, who displays a broad knowledge of clinical specialities, and whose values are aligned to those of Hywel Dda University Health Board:

Pembrokeshire is an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to a wide variety of outdoor activities and cultural events, and is part of Hywel Dda University Health Board, a leading example of a rural healthcare model, offering excellent opportunities to develop skills in this area of practice.
As 7 day services are being developed, applicants must be prepared to work as part of a rota over 7 days. The post holder will be expected to travel between sites to visit patients at home.

- Degree or recognised equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Current professional registration with HCPC
- Evidence of attendance on specialist short courses and advanced training up to Master's level equivalent in relevant area.
- MSc within relevant specialty.
- Post-graduate qualification up to post grad diploma level in relevant area
- Clinical/Practice Education Training Course
- Evidence of leadership courses/ qualifications
- Member of professional body/Specialist Interest Group
- Significant post-graduate experience working as an occupational therapist; including relevant experience in specialist field.
