The ability to work well within a team and forge good working relationships with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency colleagues is an essential component of this role. Experience of working in a mental health setting is essential for this post, and experience working with young people is desirable, but not essential as candidates should be able to demonstrate transferable skills.

About us

Training and development opportunities are available to the team including an in-house new to CAMHS training package and regular informal training sessions and CPD events. There is a robust induction. We have supported social workers through the ASYE programme upon qualifying as well as nurses and mental health practitioners to progress through the bands.

Hampshire CAMHS values the contribution that nursing makes and has a well-established nursing structure and strategy. This ensures robust supervision and governance arrangements are in place and CQC standards adhered to. We are a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led service.
