Are you a passionate and experienced older persons mental health psychiatrist? Are you looking for an opportunity to join an award winning and forward thinking NHS Trust?
Here at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust we are currently seeking to appoint a consultant or senior doctor in Community OPMH. You will primarily be working in the Wells, Somerset area but will be joining the wider Mendip OPMH Team.
You will either be a new or already appointed consultant, or a senior doctor with significant experience working within community OPMH.
Main duties of the job
This is a full time 10 PA with an additional PA available to support a special interest. However we would also welcome applications from individuals looking for flexible or family friendly working and so will consider part time applications or requests for extended hours.
There is no on call requirement although this is available separately if you wish to join this.
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded 'Mental Health Trust of the Year' award for 2021 by Health Service Journal. This follows a series of initiatives that we've introduced that have changed the way we develop and plan our mental health services - by listening to and involving patients themselves. The HSJ judges said they were looking for trusts which offer excellent, patient-centric care built on strong engagement between clinicians within and beyond the organisation.
About us
