This is an exciting opportunity to be part of dynamic and established multidisciplinary team.
Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist participating as a member of the Hospital Multidisciplinary Team, managing a specialised clinical caseload.
The post holder will assess, formulate, evaluate and monitor specialised rehabilitation packages which will involve complex decision making within the Community Hospital. This role will require negotiation and co-ordination of a number of team members to deliver the specialised rehabilitation programmes to the patients on the ward.
we are a 20 bedded community hospital delivering care to a wide range of service users from 18 yrs upwards.
You will work alongside a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, with direct access and support from the Band 7 Clinical Team Leads.
We will actively encourage and support your continued professional development with regular supervision with the band 7 physiotherapist, annual appraisal and access to local/countywide in-service training. Evidence of Clinical leadership will be required to deliver high quality, evidence-based physio practice within the speciality.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is expected to have day to day operational and supervisory responsibility for more junior staff and Physiotherapy/rehabilitation assistants, providing leadership, clinical support and training as appropriate.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential
- do you have current and valid registration with Health and care professions council
- valid UK driving licence
- Evidence of post graduate learning
- experience of supporting junior staff
- experience in a variety of settings
- experience of change management
- experience of managing junior staff , ie sickness supervision and appraisals
- Evidence of excellent communication skills
- experience of working as part of MDT
- Experience of incident reporting and investigating
