Main duties of the job
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead our People Operations Team which consists of our People Information and People Advisory Service on a fixed term 3 month contract. With a new People Strategy, and an ambitious national People Plan this is a fantastic time to play a key part in the future shaping of the People Operations Team and the wider successes of the Trust.
You will support the Deputy Chief People Officer, in the strategic and operational delivery of a high quality, professional service in accordance with our People values and in collaboration with the broader People and OD Team.

Job responsibilities
You will be an experienced HR professional with MCIPD, who has experience of operating as a Senior HR practitioner, managing a team in a fast paced environment and highly competent with People/HR Information systems such as ESR. Ideally you should have proven experience of People/HR in a healthcare setting. You will have a track record of successfully managing a team and have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders. Your knowledge of employment legislation and workforce metrics/information systems will be matched with an ability to provide senior support and advice on complex employee relations and organisational change matters, as well as supporting the delivery of transformational People activities that support the Trust with its ambitious strategy.
