Do you want to be part of a team working in brand new, purpose-built theatres providing planned surgery for patients across Hertfordshire and west Essex?
We are looking NOW for talented staff to form the core team that will be the beating heart of the Hertfordshire and West Essex Surgical Centre being built at St Albans City Hospital and set to open in Spring 2025.

The Surgical Centre will focus on Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) standards and will be a highly efficient facility, achieving 85% theatre utilisation and operating sessions over an extended 10-hour day, four days a week, with shorter, 8-hour operating session taking place on Friday and Saturdays.
Interviews will be taking place on 18th December.
Main duties of the job
Be responsible for the management and organisation of the operative list and clinical care .
Be responsible for the efficient communication of changes within the surgical centre operating department to all members of the multidisciplinary theatre team.
