This is an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join the Neuro Rehabilitation Out-Patient Team at East Sussex Healthcare. This is a part time cross-site post primarily based at Eastbourne District General Hospital. You will link in closely with specialist nurses and therapist to support patients in achieving identified goals improving their outcomes and quality of life. You will have the opportunity to further develop your career with a specialised Neurological focus.

Main duties of the job
- To undertake specialist clinical physiotherapy assessments and treatments, including Aquatic Therapy, appropriate to Band 6 grade.
- To work as an autonomous professional according to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Rules of Professional conduct and Standards of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council (HPC) regulations, working without the need for direct supervision, access to advice and support from a more senior physiotherapist is available if required, but work is not routinely evaluated.
- To work collaboratively with all healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless, co-ordinated service that meets the individual patient need.
- To supervise, educate and be involved in the appraisal of student, physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants within the team.

- Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Current registration with HPC
- Post-graduate qualification or proven equivalent experience / training in a relevant field
Desirable
- Practice Placement Education Certificate.
Experience

- 3 years post qualification clinical rotational experience, to include neurological experience.
- Experience of training/supervision.
- Experience of multi-professional working.

- Experience of using client-centred goals.

- Evidence of CPD in previous year.
- Awareness of clinical governance and understanding of the NHS and challenges facing service delivery.
