Band 7-8a preceptorship
We welcome applications from Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists. This posts could either be appointed as a band 7 preceptorship working towards an 8a position, or at an 8a depending upon skills and experience. Responsibilities will be adjusted accordingly. The post covers the West of Birmingham in Forward Thinking Birmingham for age 0 to 25years old.
We work as part of a multidisciplinary team and are an enthusiastic and dynamic team of Psychologists who value our professional identity and career progression opportunities that develop the 4 pillars of key skills. Namely our therapeutic expertise, leadership, education of others and service development within and across the 4 Core Teams in Forward Thinking Birmingham.
These skills are nurtured and developed from the moment you join the team, through training and supervision of individual work and service development projects. We are innovative and creative and we are looking for others who would like to join the team.
Main duties of the job
You will be joining our team at an exciting time of change. We have a vision for transforming organisational culture to deliver trauma informed, preventative and psychologically minded care to children, young people families and carers that is equitable to the diverse needs of the communities we serve.
