The vacancy of Deputy Director of Nursing has arisen at Whipps Cross Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust.
We are looking for a nurse leader with significant experience of nursing leadership and corporate nursing experience.
You will need to have extensive experience of workforce safeguards and professional development. Highly competent with the use of workforce roster platforms. Ability to analyse and write summary reports of workforce productivity and efficiency. Experience of developing and implementing workforce strategy.
Main duties of the job
You must have senior nurse leader experience in Emergency Medicine, have a clear understanding of patient flow within the hospital and safe patient placement in a pressured hospital.
You will also need to have good understanding of adult, children and maternity safeguards. Significant experience of managing allegations against staff with good professional understanding, clear governance process and compassionate to all parties concerned.
An informal visit is highly recommended.
The post holder will be directly managed by the Director of Nursing for Whipps Cross Hospital.
