Senior Pharmacy Education and Training Pharmacy Technician / Production Technician for Aseptic Services
An exciting opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as Senior Pharmacy Education and Training Technician / Production Technician for Aseptic Services within the training department at Bart's Health NHS Trust, Pharmacy Technical Services (PTS).
PTS is a licensed manufacturing unit with three sites, Royal London Hospital which is based at Whitechapel, St. Barts Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the training and supervision of SMT trainees and rotational staff within the production areas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all training documentation is current and updated in a timely manner in line with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) audits and internal reviews.
Applicants must hold aNVQ BTEC Level 3 in pharmaceutical Science Registered with Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
or Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) Level 3 or a relevant Science degree registered with the required Regulatory body.
