DSFS Ltd are in search of a highly motivated and driven individual to work as part of our welcoming estates electrical team.
We are seeking enthusiastic people who are keen on progression and learning to be part of the team and take on duties such as PPM's and reactive jobs.
This is a chance to work within an estates department that is focused on its staff and their development through training and qualifications, leading to many exciting opportunities ahead.
The hours will be 37.5 per week, with potential for overtime when the service requires it.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this interesting role are to maintain the buildings and associated equipment at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and our RPC properties in an efficient, economic, and safe manner in accordance with statutory, Health and Safety, DSFS and Trust standards.
You will be tasked with the statutory, scheduled maintenance of various items of plant across the trust and associated buildings whilst also carrying our reactive duties when applicable.
These duties will include, but are not limited to the checks of generators, automatic doors, lifts, nurse call systems, PAT testing. Other duties will include the cleaning and maintenance of air conditioning units, fridges , heaters and other equipment.
For reactive duties you will be tasked with work such as repairs to lighting circuits, patient care equipment such as over bed lights, nurse call equipment and where more complex tasks are required you will work closely with our electricians.
Work will be carried out in compliance with all HTM, Health & Safety and other relevant regulations, guidelines and Trust policies, undertaking training, making risk assessments, familiarisation and refresher courses as required.
