This is a great opportunity for a District Nurse who holds Community Specialist Practitioner Qualification (CSP) to work in a friendly and dynamic District Nursing Team in the North Locality.

Main duties of the job

As a Community Specialist Practitioner (CSP) and Registered General Nurse (RGN) you will be required to work as part of our Integrated Neighbourhood Team to lead and co-ordinate nursing teams to provide nursing care to adults in their own home and in a variety of settings within the community.You will enjoy the chance to develop new and existing clinical skills, as well as a range of training opportunities for personal development. We will be looking for proven leadership skills and the ability to work within and lead and develop staff, as well as work autonomously. You will hold the relevant CSP Qualification and have the required community nursing experience as set out in the job description. You will be an excellent communicator and be willing to work in an integrated way with our partners in health and social care. With patient centred care as your main focus, you will deliver our values, and nurse with pride, respect, empathy, consideration, compassion and dignity.The Community Nursing Service is a 7 day service with variable shift patterns available between 8am-6pm. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you possess a full driving licence and have access to a car.
