Your role:Lead the charge in developing, delivering, and coordinating a core training program in collaborationwith our local partners. You'll be at the forefront of:- Shaping whole-setting approaches- Pioneering early identification and intervention strategies- creating a place-based model for addressing diverse therapy needs
Core Training Offer:Our core training offer is a vital part of our local offer, designed to:- Educate, coach, and upskill adults who work with children and young people (CYP)- Focus on improving occupational performance and speech, language, and communicationneeds (SLCN)- Empower the community to better support our CYP's development and well-being
Main duties of the job
As a key member of our team, you will lead on the following critical activities:
-Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for various stakeholders.-Training Program Development: Create innovative and comprehensive training materials tailored to our parents/families, educational settings, and team around the CYP needs.-Training Coordination: Manage logistics, schedules, and resources to ensure smooth program execution.-Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with partners and participants to maximize program impact.-Continuous Improvement: Incorporate feedback from participants and stakeholders to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training.

- BSc OT or Dip COT Professional registration with HCP. Member of BAOT/COT or equivalent for professional indemnity. Member of Specialist Section of the College of Occupational Therapy e.g. CYPF Evidence of Post Graduate CPD
- Registered member of the Royal College of Speech And Language Therapists
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
- Health Professions Council Licence to Practice
- Evidence of continuing professional development and personal development.
Experience

- Experience of working in a range of clinical settings to include community and hospital. Evidence of good presentation skills Evidence of supervision of others
